The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Department of Paediatrics at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin provides the following:

Undergraduate:

  • Responsible for undergraduate teaching of paediatrics to students from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland co-ordinated by Professor Eleanor Molloy.

Postgraduate:

  • Co-ordination of postgraduate learning.
  • Research days and National Paediatric meetings.

Research:

  • Undergraduate Research : Student electives and research projects.
  • Postgraduate Research: Research interests include translational research in neonatal brain injury and inflammation and also paediatric sepsis and immune responses under the academic leadership of Professor Eleanor Molloy.
  • MD/PhD: Several collaborative international research groups including several ongoing MD and PhD students.
