A New Patient Registration & Management System

Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin is introducing an integrated Patient Registration and Management System called iPMS (Integrated Patient Management System) commencing 11 April 2019.

  • iPMS will operate across both CHI at Crumlin and Temple Street hospitals and will allow staff at Crumlin to access your child’s attendance records/information, should they need to, on both CHI at Crumlin and Temple Street hospital sites.

What does iPMS mean for you and your child?

  • iPMS will provide all patients with a single patient identity number across both CHI at Crumlin and Temple Street hospitals.

  • If you attend both Crumlin and Temple Street hospital we will now be able to access your child’s attendance records at Temple Street hospital as well as the Crumlin site.

  • This will result in reduced duplication of patient information

Whats next?

Roll out of our new iPMS System is taking place from Thursday, 11 April to Monday 15 April 2019.

  • It may take us a little longer than normal to register your details during this time and for the week following the launch. This means that the hospital will be booking/recording patient information manually in the Emergency Department and Admissions Department.

  • Patients details will be reentered into the new iPMS system after go live date on 13 April 2019.

  • Outpatient follow up appointments will be posted out to families after 13 April 2019.

  • We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time and we apologise for any inconvenience which may be caused during your visit to hospital.
